Ever found yourself looking in the mirror and finding nothing to love? You're not alone. As a survivor of my own turmoil, I've learned to turn self-loathing into self-love. I'll reveal some life-altering strategies, including the power of self-reflection, self-care, setting boundaries, being influenced positively, practicing gratitude and self-acceptance.
Shifting gears, we journey into the landscape of making amends, a critical and often challenging part of recovery. Speaking from personal experience, I had to let go of my ego and pride, and confront myself with honesty. It's a process that is always ongoing, and it's not just about uttering apologies. I'm grateful to share my personal experiences in this area, and provide some advice along the way. If you're on the path to recovery, or even if you're just beginning to find your way, this episode will shed valuable light on the journey towards self-understanding, self-improvement, and most importantly, self-love.
