In my experience, anger stops forward progress.
To get past anger I need to experience the anger and learn from it to minimize creating the situation that I'm angry about.
I don't like being angry and yet I realize I need to ACCEPT that I am creating anger in my life to be able to make different choices and NOT create more anger in my life.
