Donna chats with Martin Casino, CEO of Poke Motion. Poké is a popular dish that originated from Hawaii. Traditionally, poké bowls are made up of rice, diced raw fish and vegetables. It’s so popular in Hawaii that it’s considered Hawaii’s “hamburger and hot dogs” which can be found in most, if not all, supermarkets in Hawaii. Their poké bowls consists of a variety of bases, different types of protein (raw fish, chicken, shrimp or even chickpeas for our vegan customers), and an assortment of vegetables and fruit, topped with their signature sauces. A five-year-old food truck has opened a brick and mortar location in Harrison, a result owner Martin Casino said, of the demand his customers were asking for.
