No person is perfect, no ministry is perfect. With that said; we all make mistakes. We have made so many mistakes! Mistakes we openly admit to and are open to dialogue about them and process the lessons we learned from them. Perfectionism is fake and unattainable. In this episode we tell you our most costly mistake, so that you can avoid doing it by all means possible! This mistake is very costly! We unpack how that decision shaped our leadership, our marriage, our emotional health, and our connection with God. If you’ve ever felt the pressure to surrender your mind & voice in the name of obedience, honor or loyalty, this one’s for you. We share this not as a warning, but as a lifeline. So you can recognize the signs, reclaim your voice, and walk in the responsibility God entrusted to you. You can live for God and obey Him without being coerced or manipulated, you can think for yourself, make powerful decisions all while embracing unity and servanthood.
