This month, Ann Garton returns as our host to lead a discussion about person-centredness in adaptive sports. The panelists talk about the need for inclusive sports activities in youth and college athletics and their contributions to the field.

๐†๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ: Tanya Braet, MOT, OTR/L, Co-Founder of Y Quad Cities Adaptive Rowing Program
๐€๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ: In 2011, Tanya, along with fellow rowers, founded The Y Quad Cities Adaptive Rowing Program. Tanya received her Bachelor of Psychology in 2005 and her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2006 from St. Ambrose University. She currently works for Doctors of Physical Therapy as an onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) in an Industrial Setting where her primary focus is injury prevention. Prior to being an onsite therapist for Industry. Tanya worked in Acute Care and Skilled Nursing settings for a combination of 14 years of experience as an OT. She was also previously an adjunct professor at St. Ambrose, teaching a special topics class about Adaptive Rowing.
