The Summer of Song continues!
This week, we go back in time to the mid/late 1980s... via 2001 in the Mark Wahlberg film Rock Star. Costarring Jennifer Aniston, Timothy Olyphant (pre-Boba Fett armor), and Timothy Spall, Rock Star tells the story of Chris Cole, the lead singer of a Steel Dragon cover band. Don't church it up son, it's a cover band.
Chris gets his big break after being kicked out of his cover band to sing with the real band, Steel Dragon. In joining the band Chris learns that being a Rock Star isn't all it's cracked up to be.
