I’m back from a week of skiing – and while I wouldn’t say I’m well-rested, I have lived.

For the first time since leaving my corporate job in 2022, I fully switched off from work. No client calls, no backend tasks—just a proper break.

And honestly? I needed it. I could feel myself edging toward burnout.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing what this week taught me about the importance of rest—and how it doesn’t always mean doing nothing. From skiing hard (thanks to Harry’s bad influence 😅) to reading, relaxing, and yes, drinking too much at après ski… I took time for myself in a way that felt right for me.

Too many professional women burn out because they never stop. They never take time for themselves outside of work. Health and fitness are part of self-care, but they’re not the only part. There’s more to life than dieting and working.

Speaking of which—More To Life, my coaching programme for professional women who want to lose weight and keep it off without their whole world revolving around dieting, is now open.
