Welcome to another episode of Together on a Journey of Hope! In today’s episode, we're reflecting on our pilgrimage through the Eternal City—Rome—and exploring the deep layers of faith and history that we encountered. We begin at the Church of the Holy Spirit, where the legacy of divine mercy intersects with centuries of pilgrimage. Bishop Kulick, Vince, and Kate dive into the powerful transformation of this church and the significant connection between St. John Paul II’s devotion to Divine Mercy and the church’s dedication to healing both spiritually and physically.
Next, we journey to the Colosseum, a place where early Christians were martyred, and discuss its profound spiritual transformation, from a symbol of death to a testament of life and hope in Christ. From there, we walk the Via Sacra, the sacred path that early Christians like St. Peter and St. Paul took, and reflect on the foundational roots of our faith.
We also explore the layers of history in the ancient Church of San Clemente, affectionately called the “Lasagna Church,” with its layers of history. Bishop shares how this pilgrimage has deepened our understanding of the historical richness of our faith.
As we share these experiences, we invite you to reflect on your own faith journey and connect with the layers of history, tradition, and spirituality that unite us all.
Send your questions and prayer intentions to [email protected], and join us as we continue this journey together—growing in hope, faith, and understanding. All roads lead to Rome, and we want you to experience the same transformative journey of faith right where you are.
Listen and walk with us on a journey of hope!
