We all recognize that the Holidays are meant to be a time of reflection, celebration and joy, and of ceremonial foods, gathering together of family and friends and as a community to honor and share traditions and rituals, seasonal celebrations and spiritual practices. It helps us mark the cycles of the Year, and many memories are made, those who have crossed are remembered and stories old and new are told. For some the holidays are a time of sadness, increased depression, and isolation.
For some of us who are in charge of making that Holiday happen, it increases our stress and responsibilities to create that PERFECT holiday. We aim to help you and ourselves by adding some practical tips but ALSO to help reframe and express what is really important to you, your family and community – pare back to what is really meaningful to you. There is so much to talk about we will cover this is 2 podcasts. Today’s podcast covers many pragmatic tips. Our second podcast will take a deeper dive into how to make the Holiday meaningful for you and your loved ones.
