Rabbi Evan Moffic, aka The Carnivore Rabbi, discovered that a meat-based diet enhanced his meditation practice and mental clarity, offering a surprising counterpoint to traditional spiritual dietary wisdom. Rabbi Moffic’s transformative journey into a carnivore diet helped him to find relief from struggling with chronic stomach issues and brain fog, and led to him to finding clarity and improved health.

As a Reform Rabbi, Evan navigates the interesting intersection between traditional Jewish dietary laws and modern nutrition. Rabbi Moffic graduated with high honors from Stanford University in 2000 with a major in history and a senior thesis on Louis Brandeis and the American Zionist movement.

Evan is one of the country’s youngest senior rabbis in the Reform Movement, and has been a guest lecturer at numerous Jewish centers and synagogues around the country, also having been invited to speak to a variety of interfaith groups. His scholarly works have been published in a wide range of journals, newspapers and magazines.
