After 15 years in nonprofit leadership, her growing awareness of her own "stuckness" coincided with the challenges and opportunities of the COVID pandemic; her curiosity took her into a deep study of somatics, embodied leadership, coaching models, and mindfulness to ultimately coalesce in a coaching practice that emphasizes leadership and personal influence, nervous system regulation for the benefit of ourselves and our communities, internal awareness and emotional literacy, and freeing ourselves from old patterns. Erin incorporates somatics, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, movement, and leadership best practices into her coaching work, customized for each client's needs. She believes in building leadership capacity from within, using a holistic, trauma-informed approach that combines mind, heart, and body to help leaders – within or outside of an organizational context – to lead differently, increase their own skills of resilience and care, and better navigate work challenges, personal relationships, and community engagements with integrity and alignment with their values. www.erinlingosomatics.com Consider supporting the podcast for $5 though BuyMeACoffee Support the show…

You can find out more about me at www.creatingwellnessfromwithin.com Follow me on: Instagram , Facebook , LinkedIn , and Twitter Today's guest is: Heather Eijzenga There was a sudden rainstorm at the playground. Heather ran for cover and that’s when she saw it - a small camera, rusting under the slides. Water dripped from the viewfinder as she held it up to her eight-year-old cheek and saw the world in a frame for the first time. Although hooked on images, she didn’t set out to become a photographer. Instead, she went into biology, traveling and working in wildlife conservation until finally, ending up in Hawaii. After her son was born, she circled back to the viewfinder, which had been using to photograph wildlife, and started using it to photograph the wildest life of all - families. Heather loves the chaos, energy, and little gestures inherent to each family. She is fascinating how these movements can be so beautiful. Now, Heather has been photographing local and visiting families in Hawaii for over 12 years. She takes them on mini adventures where they play and explore. Best of all she sees their world in frame for the first time, and helps them see just how beautiful it is. hilittlebird.com Consider supporting the podcast for $5 though BuyMeACoffee Support the show…

Fitzgibbon explains, “You did what you had to do just to get by. I played in Soho nightclubs for a while and there were some pretty unsavoury characters you had to deal with, but as a kid it was a great education in many different ways” Money has never been a real motivation either. He says “Sure you need and deserve to get paid for what you do, but I enjoy musical variety and if I liked the sound of a proposition, I said yes first and then found out what numeration was going to be later” As a result he has no regrets and has worked in almost every musical genre, in many parts of the world, whilst pursuing his craft.
