This past week felt like a full-on comedy festival in Eugene. I hosted a little Korean reunion with friends from all over—Canada, Baltimore, Korea—and we packed in seven shows across six days, including some with Kyle Kinane. It was beautiful, busy, and beyond fun. I got to see my hometown through their eyes, which reminded me how charming this place really is. In this episode, I reflect on what it means to be a good host (and how hosting 40-something-year-old men feels a lot like a dime-store version of The Bachelor), the joy of connection, and how I managed to stay sober, present, and (somewhat) well-rested throughout it all.
