If you've ever come back from being at an event or even a conference and had thoughts like… “I wish I had done … “ or “I forgot to say this to XXX” or “Why didn’t I remember to…”
Or maybe you wonder if your time at the event was even worth it… then this episode is for you.

Those words are what I call the “after-event regrets.” The coulda-shoulda-woulda thinking that happens when you realize there were missed opportunities because you forgot to do specific actions. Actions you know could have helped bring about a different result.

There are 10 specific actions you can take when attending a conference or event to help get the most ROI possible. Big or small, local or global… even events where you hop on a plane and travel to them - you want a good return on your investment for your time and, sometimes money invested by going to any events.

Some of these actions helped me get results, and today, I share a story of one event and how it turned into almost 50,000 in revenue over 3 years and a amazing opportunity to meet some TV and music celebrities at a Gala in Hollywood!

Listen in to this episode to learn how to plan specific actions before, at and after the event to ensure you never feel that way again. Knowing these 10 actions and doing them will help you get the MOST ROI possible from any event or conference you attend.

Is your website actually pushing clients away? Nicole Holovach was wondering the same thing when she booked a free marketing review with me. Nicole is a dietitian in private practice who reached out for a second opinion on why she wasn’t booking as many consults and clients as she expected — even with a polished website and Google Ads running. She thought it might be the site design. It wasn’t. She was told the problem was her niche wasn’t narrow enough. It wasn’t that either… and in fact, being a generalist is a niche too. What it was is something we uncovered during our review. It’s a surprisingly common and often overlooked issue. And the fix? Much simpler than most practice owners think. In this episode, we walk through: ✔ Why her message wasn’t converting ✔ What Nicole should change on her homepage ✔ Simple ways to help ideal clients say “That’s me” and reach out ✔ A few key tips when ads are bringing traffic but no one is booking If you’ve ever felt like your website should be performing better and wondering how to make that happen… this episode is for you. 🎧 Hit play and learn what Nicole changed so you can take these same steps in your private practice. Sometimes the best way to understand what’s not working in when marketing your private practice is to see how others have fixed it. In this episode of Marketing Your Private Practice , Kathy shares three real-life messaging makeovers from a dietitian, a therapist and a coach - all service providers - who refined what they say and how they say it. These examples - from vague intros to clear, confident elevator pitches - show you exactly what changes made their marketing more effective and attract more clients. If you’ve ever wondered how to talk about your services in a way that connects with the clients you want to help without listing off every certification or overloading people with options ... you’ll take away valuable ideas from these transformations. In this episode, you’ll learn: What made each “before” message confusing or forgettable How clearer intros and elevator pitches made conversations easier Ways to describe what you do so ideal clients recognize themselves Why simplifying services can actually help you stand out What happens when your message finally feels like you If you learn best by example, this is the episode to listen to. You can have a steady stream of clients, even from referrals, and still be invisible online - even from people who live in the same area. That’s the hidden trap many service providers fall into - and it’s exactly what we unpack in this special video edition of the podcast. Kathy C sits down with Mary Beaton to conduct a live marketing review of Mary’s website and Google Business Profile. Mary runs a successful payroll service business, Performance Payroll, but she wasn’t showing up in search results, especially for local people - and wanted to know why. Here's the thing... your website is like a storefront on a busy street. It has one main job - to convert walkers going by the store into clients. The same as website vistiors should be converting into clients. But if the sign on your store is vague, the door is hard to find, and the hours aren’t listed, how will anyone know to walk in? Mary’s online presence was missing the basics - and that was quietly costing her client opportunities. In this episode, which is also available on YouTube with the video showing what we were checking... Kathy reveals the simple fixes every local service business needs: clear messaging, SEO foundations, and the tools that help your website actually work. Listen in to learn: • The 3 backend website mistakes most service businesses make • Tips to optimize your Google Business Profile to get found locally • Why messaging clarity matters more than ever • What payroll and private practice websites have in common Watch the full video or read the detailed show notes here: 👉 http://marketingyourprivatepractice.com/149 Click here to send Kathy a text message about this Episode 🔴 Say Hi! on Instagram 🔴 Check out our free resources for practice owners 🔴 I'd love if you would post a podcast review ~ Thanks for Listening!…
