Raccoon Roses Excerpt:
The little bunny looked out from under the shelter of the cozy pine and grinned. The world was quiet, white, and sparkly. Snow had fallen yesterday, and Ballet had used the fresh blanket to recreate her garden of snow roses. Some were big, round blooms, and some were little buds, but they all stood in a circle around her tree.
Ballet loved looking at her snowy roses. They reminded her of summer. As Ballet gazed at them, she imagined the warmth of the sun on her fur, the soft petals brushing against her nose, and the sweet scent filling the air. Even though winter was cold, her snow roses shimmered in the morning light, just as lovely as real flowers.
Today’s Meditation: Imagine drawing gentle shapes in the soothing sand as you relax before today’s story.
