This week we get to talk to 2 artists who are working on a show together coming from very different experiences and backgrounds. Hamish Pritchard is a voice coach, teacher director and actor and Rachel Leong is an emerging artist who just finished her theatre training at LASALLE College of the Arts. They are working, along with some of the team from Shapehouse Productions on a play called Sunday on the Rocks, written by Theresa Rebeck which deals with the differing views and moral beliefs of 4 female housemates. In this episode, we talk not only about the play but also the arts scene in Singapore, the differences between studying in Australia and internationally for theatre and much, much more.

Tune into the Indie Setup to get a behind the scenes insight into the world of independent theatre and film in Sydney Australia. Each episode we interview industry insiders and deep-dive into their knowledge and experiences. We hope that their stories, insights and experiences will act as your tour-guide around the world of independent creatives.

Hosted by Sean Foster and brought to you by Shape House Productions.

Executive Producer Sarah Maguire.
