It is my pleasure to welcome Jessica Wallis, Founder and Executive Director of Ballet in the City. Jessica has produced and presented programming with dancers such as Ashley Bouder, Sonia Rodriguez, and Misty Copeland, at prestigious venues including The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is a two-time honors graduate of The University of Akron, the founder of The Ballet in the City Scholarship, and was honored for her work with an official proclamation from the City of Cleveland. Ms. Wallis was presented with a Distinguished Alumni award by the Cuyahoga Falls Schools Foundation in 2018.
Ballet in the City engages the best professional ballet dancers from across the globe. It produces and presents programming, performances, and events with these exceptional professionals, which bring the art up-close and personal to ballet enthusiasts spanning generations.

The mission of Ballet in the City is to present professional ballet performances, educational opportunities, and events in cities around the nation, promoting and enhancing the culture of ballet, unique to each location.
Ballet in the City will engage and inspire individuals in the art of ballet and communicate the relevance and value of ballet, the results of which will endure for future generations.
